Three Systems That Hold Up Anywhere in Florida
We don’t do a little of everything — we’ve mastered the three roof systems that perform best on manufactured and mobile homes in Florida.

TPO Roofing
The gold standard for the flat and low-slope roofs common on single- and double-wides — a heat-welded membrane that reflects the Florida sun.
- Energy-saving reflective white surface
- Heat-welded seams — no leak points
- Handles ponding water & UV
Best for: flat & low-slope roofs, cutting cooling costs

Metal Roofing
A lightweight metal roof-over adds decades of protection and serious wind resistance — without overloading your home’s structure.
- 40–60 year lifespan
- Superior wind uplift performance
- Potential insurance savings
Best for: maximum longevity & storm protection

Shingle Roofing
Architectural shingles rated for Florida wind zones keep the classic neighborhood look many parks prefer.
- High-wind rated architectural shingles
- Wide range of colors & styles
- Budget-friendly curb appeal
Best for: pitched roofs & traditional styling

Statewide Coverage Questions
Do I need a permit to re-roof a manufactured home in Florida?
Yes — a roof replacement is a permitted job in every Florida county. As your licensed contractor we pull the permit and meet the inspector, so you don’t have to chase paperwork.
My community has rules about roof colour, work hours and dumpsters. Can you work with that?
Yes. A large share of our work is inside manufactured-home communities and 55+ parks. Send us your park’s requirements before we start and we’ll build the job around them — staging, work hours, driveway access and cleanup included.
Do you actually travel to my area, or is this just an SEO page?
We travel. Bismarck Roofing is a statewide manufactured-home roofing company with Gulf Coast roots — if your home is in Florida, we can roof it. Call and we’ll confirm scheduling for your address before you commit to anything.
When is the best time to replace my roof with hurricane season coming?
Before June 1 is ideal, but we install year round. Whenever we tear off, we dry the roof in the same day — your home is never left open overnight.
Will you document the new roof for my insurance company?
Yes. We photograph the work and provide the material and installation documentation your carrier asks for. Wind-rated TPO, metal and shingle systems can qualify for insurance consideration in Florida.
